State Battery Scheme - Program Overview (NSW, WA)
To accelerate the uptake of battery storage and support a cleaner, more reliable energy grid, both NSW and WA governments have introduced state-based battery incentives that complement the Commonwealth’s Cheaper Home Batteries program. • In NSW, eligible households and small businesses can receive increased amount up to $1,500 Virtual Power Plant (VPP) incentive (BESS2) starting 1 July 2025 by connecting their battery to a VPP through an approved ACP. However, the BESS1 will be suspended from 1 July 2025 and will be noticed if anything changed further. • In WA, residents may be eligible for up to $3,800 under the WA Residential Battery Scheme, with the rebate amount based on battery capacity and energy provider. These programs can be combined with the federal battery rebate (CHBP) t2025-06-11 13:46

Battery STC Creation is now available
Dear Clients, We have released a new version of the Retailer portal and Installer App last night, which included support for Battery STC creation on retailer portal and on-site data collection for Installer App. Please remind your installer to update the app before heading to the site — it’s important for everything to work properly. Please keep evidence that the battery is not switching on (e.g., a seal tag with the installer’s name and date on the isolator, or additional photos). This must be retained until 1st July for the claim to remain eligible.2025-05-16 09:08
