A faster path to commercial solar incentives
Before Activity 47 was introduced, commercial solar projects in Victoria could only generate VEECs through the Measurement and Verification method, with incentives based on measured energy savings over time. Activity 47 changed that by introducing an upfront, deemed incentive pathway for eligible 30–200 kW commercial and industrial solar systems.

ELIGIBILITY
What the system needs to qualify
Every condition below needs to be met before certificates can be created.
Grid-connected
The solar PV system must be grid-connected.
30kW–200kW system size
Systems outside this range aren't eligible under Activity 47.
Installed in Victoria
The system must be installed at a commercial or industrial premises in VIC.
One VEEC Claim per NMI
Only one VEEC can be created per National Metering Identifier (NMI) under this activity.
