Know Your Daily Installation Limit

9 hours agoImportant Update

Two Jobs per Day Limit

One installer can complete a maximum of two installations per day.

This means one installer, on one day, can complete no more than:

  1. Two PV system installations

  2. Two battery system installations; or

  3. One PV system installation and one battery system installation

If a job involves both solar panel installation and battery installation at the same property, it is considered two separate jobs for STC claim purposes. After completing both the PV and battery installations, the installer must not undertake any additional installation work on the same day.

The Two Jobs per Day Limit Is a Solid Rule

Any job completed beyond this limit may have its STC claim rejected by the CER.

GreenDeal will suspend, withdraw, or close the STC creation process for any additional job(s) where it is identified that an installer has undertaken more than two jobs within one day.

There is no longer a relief or exemption process for over-installation cases.

Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) Special Consideration only applies to jobs completed between 1 July 2025 and 22 December 2025. SAA will not issue exemption approvals for jobs completed outside this time period.

Retailers and installers should not rush installations or set unrealistic schedules.
