Important Reminder for Alternative Supply Labelling - GreenDeal

Dear Retailers and Installers,

When you install a battery system with backup supply or any backup circuits, you must clearly label it.

1. Warning Label

2. Switch Grouping Label

A Warning Label must be placed on or beside the main switchboard and any distribution switchboard with the text below (AS/NZS 4777.1:2024 Cl 6.8).

"WARNING", "MULTIPLE MODE INVERTER CONNECTED", "NEUTRAL AND EARTH CIRCUITS MAY BE LIVE UNDER NORMAL AND FAULT CONDITIONS" and reference to Shutdown Procedure.

An Alternative Supply Label must be fitted to the switches to group together all the relevant switches for backup circuits (AS/NZS 3000:2018 Cl 2.10.5.2).

We have received CER's auditing advice and it requires a return for rectification when "Alternative Supply" label is missing.

Please prepare the two labels before your installation, so you can finalise the job in one go.
